Unique, handwoven cotton apron with Hmong hand embroidered applique.
Pattern + Colour: brown cotton with traditional Hmong applique with geometric patterns. Brown, red, blue, yellow.
Size: 72cm L x 58cm W (straps not included)
Materials + technique: Hand-spun, natural hand-dyed, and handwoven indigenous cotton + Hmong traditional geometric embroidery.
Ethnic Group + Region: Hmong, Xieng Khouang, Laos
Social Enterprise partner: Sourced from the Quality of Life Association (QLA) in Xieng Khouang, Laos. QLA supports unexploded ordnance (UXO) survivors and their families with many services including livelihoods training in traditional Lao handicrafts.
Care: Gentle wash or hand wash in cold water with mild soap. Do not soak. Line dry only. Iron as needed.
